This unit is designed to be mounted onto the vehicle for use in an onboard air system or air suspension system. Can also be used to power air horns. VIAIR 400C compressors are used at the center of a fully functional onboard air system and are rated to 150 PSI maximum working pressure with 33% duty cycle, meaning that the unit is able to be operated up to 15 minutes, and allowed to rest for 30 minutes thereafter before restarting (based on a 100 PSI, 72° Fahrenheit environment).
